finished the book last night.  Way better than the movie, and I liked the flick.    If the movie had been identical to the book it would have been 6 parts and 12 hours long.

Because I knew the movie was eye candy, it was awesome. The book was completely different and the way the story was told through the remembrances of interviewees around the world about different stages of WWZ, I knew there was NO way they could make it into a movie. With that understanding, I'm ok with what they were able to do. They kinda replicated the feel of the book by at least travelling around the world to different spots.
