I don't think Braves is offensive.   Though they use a tomahawk as a logo so obviously it is Indian based.

But what if they depicted the US military as a logo?   Certainly Braves is an applicable name for our nation's military.

 

The Indians will find another logo and Chief Wahoo will eventually go away.  At least Clevelend's MLB franchise is being proactive.   IIRC they have a C on their hats.

 

Years ago the Cincinnati Red's changed their name to Redlegs because of the mania about commies.  The mania died down and they went back to Red's again.  I think they have been Redlegs several times in their history.  

 

Snyder is penny wise and pound foolish.  Had he voluntarily changed the name before the .gov got involved he'd have had retro merchandise to sell as well as new logo stuff.

oh and how convenient the guy has the same name as one of the acorn cofounders. - different people, same name 

 

Also looks like "Bob" is paying himself $136k out of the organization; out of a total yearly revenue of $653,043.... and the big kicker?  $647,177 of that money is from government grants.  So basically we are paying this guy's salary with our tax money so he can turn around and sue a private organization for billions of dollars.

I'm sure it's about being offended. Just think of the endless lawsuits. I might as well join them, I am offended by dems! I will sue every dem in the country.
