First Class III and Trust!

That is how it has been for as long as I have been involved with NFA stuff. But in all fairness that has only been about 4-5 years now.

Even when you eFile they will generally notify you of a problem and let you correct it. It generally gets approved within a day of the correction.

When I had errors mine took a little longer to get approved but I had some special circumstances come up. They said the signature of the sheriff looked like a copy so they sent it back. Well between the time the sheriff signed and when I got the forms back the sheriff went into hiding, and appointed the chief deputy as his replacement, because of some legal woes the sheriff got himself into. Because of that I could not get the sheriff to sign again so I had to get the chief deputy sign for the sheriff. Then the ATF had issues with two different signatures so I had to explain to them, and provide documentation, as to why the sheriff was no longer the sheriff. It took about three months from the correction to the approval but when they did contact me again to let me know all was good they did say it took longer because they had to research, and confirm, the story of the sheriff.

But that is not an issue because I use a trust now.

Yes Ron. That's how it works for paper forms. You get a letter saying that there was an error. Fix the error and you are usually approved in a couple of weeks at most.

had that happen last year myself. error means 3 weeks after fixing the mistake,,,, hopefully
