Pards:  anyone going to the RC & Moon pie festival in Bell Buckle, this weekend? Wife and I are going, sounds to be a good time!

Would love to go, but other things prevent it.

I think you'll enjoy the event. Just don't eat too many moon pies!

I love the chocolate triple deckers!

Two miles from there , and general rule is to stay away , so many people can't get around. The runner's come by the subdivision  if you go keep a out for them. And Bell Buckle is a great town ,

After action report: must say the event (RC AND MOON PIE FESTIVAL), was a big hit for us, really enjoyed it, people were great, got there FRIDAY evening, had supper at the bell buckle cafe: (great food and a lot of it) kinda of quiet! But the next day!! People everywhere and from all over. Will plan on going back!! Sure beats west tennessee!

Café is great not a bad thing (tasting) on the menu , you get spoiled to eating there being only 2miles up the road you can put on some weight fast.

The gas station across the street has pretty good breakfast.  I think it's the 82 Market and Deli?

The cafe is good stuff! My folks live just down the road from it and my office is at their place now but I don't eat down there nearly as much as I used to. May have to head over there for lunch soon. Glad ya'll enjoyed it.

I enjoy visiting Bell Buckle, but not so much when they are hosting events with large crowds. I can't seem to get in and out of Bell Buckle without an ice cram and fudge stop at Bluebird Antiques.

That was a weekend and Friday afternoon staple when I went to school there.
