Carry Permit Wait Time

Well only been 2 weeks since I filed, i've checked everyday with the hopes that all I read of 2 week turn around was good.   Guess i've hit the slow lane. 

Waiting is not my super power.   Anyone here recently waited  or is waiting?

Well at least I put a Glock 19 on layaway today, so at least there was some good news for a humpday.

Mine took about 2 weeks from the time i sent my fingerprints off to the tbi(the final step)...Times will vary because of backlogs, and they seem to be a lazy bunch of folks up there at the permit office lol :)

I did my fee and fingerprinting 6 days ago. It's been approved and is in the mail. (I applied online though)

The State has 90 days to issue.  Settle down....or "Keep Calm and WAIT" to paraphrase all those stupid-ass t-shirts.  :P

Got mine the first year they were available. Back then it took every bit of 90 days, so two weeks is nothing.

Think mine was 3 weeks. But that was 9 years ago so I really can't be accurate

xjsnake  you gotta be lucky.  day 14 after prints for me.  I check in the morning and at night after they close.   Still nothing. Only a potential 76 days to go .

I feel your pain on the waiting I sent my finger prints off Monday and I'm ready to get my permit in the mail just waiting on my back ground check to come back

Back when they first issued when I got mine quick was 60 days. My wife got hers last year took 11 days to the mailbox. so way better

It will happen. Usually when you least expect it to.

 

I remember waiting a full 90 days for my permit to come in but that was my initial permit. The renewal process takes a much much shorter timeframe.

Not lucky. The guy who did my permit class is working with the state on developing the online system of applying. His students are averaging a week from payment/fingerprinting to permit issuance.

I got mine 10 days after I did my DMV/finger printing.
