Anyone know anything about this place opening up in Belle Meade... almost behind the Krystal retaurant? Never noticed it there before today, and the sign on the door says Opening Soon.

I was wondering myself.  It is in the old Game Fair building.  Not sure if it is the same owners opening under a new name or a new outfit all together.

Didn't the Game Fair folks lose their FFL? Surely the ATF won't just turn around and issue you a new one.

Wow! Do you have any detail as to the circumstance surrounding loss of FFL?

A google search doesn't turn up their website. That sucks. I liked that store.

I've heard the same rumor as MacGyver.  Could've been something as simple as record keeping.  They were always nice folks whenever I was in there.  It will be interesting to see what it becomes.

it was record keeping

According to them, it was record keeping.  I talked to them right before they closed last year.  Nice guys and a lot of high end stuff.

It looks like John Allen started an appraisal business at the beginning of the year, so this may be a new group.

I'll be surprised if the new one isn't the same, given the location. Then again, maybe there's more Hi-Point market in Belle Meade than I think.

Either way it'll be nice to have them. I'm not overly impressed with the options already in the area. Fingers are crossed for a good selection.

Went in the new store the other day.  It is a new outfit with a small Beretta showroom included.  it is the only Beretta showroom in the state. They are planning on stocking high quality firearms such as Beretta, Browning the Benelli family of guns , Colt, Daniel Defense and more.  They were still waiting on a lot of stock to arrive. they had several brands of knives as well.  Bench made and William Henry are all I can remember.

I must've missed where you told me about the Beretta showroom. That will be a good tandem with the factory in Gallatin. We need to go when I get this project finished up.

I picked up a rifle there yesterday , they are going to be a "flagship dealer" for Beretta they said. It's going to be a very nice store. Tom from Guns for America ( was over by 100 Oaks ) has moved in with them.

Did GFA close? Or is this just a person moving over? Don't mean to be stupid, but don't really know the people at GFA.
