I was looking at kayaks but now I have switched to wanted a personal pontoon. They are a lot more stable, which for me is good because I can be clumsy. The link below is the one that I have been looking at. It has great reviews and a lot of cool features.

I now have 4 kayaks. My 13 year old has a perception swifty 9.5 that we added a pole holder to. He loves it. I went with a dagger axis 10 after trying out an old town with a fishing setup. The old town paddled like a brick. You can customize any kayak to meet your needs. I would suggest renting or borrowing a few different styles before purchasing one. I also have 2 $200 yaks that look nearly identical except a very slight difference in the hull. However one is WAY more stable initially than the other. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I have the old town angler 10 and it is heavy, but tracks well. I float/fish moving waters for the most part, so I am not concerned with crossing Old Hickory with it. My kid has a Perception Swifty 9.5. Good inexpensive floating boat. We use ours a lot. My buddy is 5'9" and about 300 pounds and fishes out of an Old Town like mine. Plenty of room. The old town Vapor is the same as the Angler, just the bells and whistles change. The sit on tops are nice for summer fishing, but I like the sit ins better for year round. Check out a website called Yakangler if you are looking for high end options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited by whiskey

I wanted a sit in for protection and storage but found out all the newer sit ins have very large openings, didn't notice till after the first time out and didn't think to put sunblock on the legs

If you were closer I would say stop by HOOK1 in Hendersonville. I like the feel free Lure kayaks, or some of the Jackson Kayak lines, The coosa is great for small waters Big rig if you want a monster. I would not recommend a sit in for fishing, get something with a High/low seat setup and something you can stand and fish out of, makes a huge difference.
