I got mine in on Tuesday. My husband intercepted the package and as he's handing it to me, he says "you ordered MORE ammo??" Sensing his disapproval, I quickly responded "No sweetheart, this case is for my brother, not me. There was a 1 case limit per person, so he had me order it for him." Whew!!! That was a close one!!!! :D LOL

Ain't that the truth. My wife thinks the ammo shows up with Ed McMahon's chance at a million dollars! I'm still glad she wants to shoot it though.

My wife, in the past, used to question the quantity I bought vs what I actually shot. Seems that more came in than went out, so to speak.

Nice save!! I am fortunate that I load my own and also get together with a friend quite often to load at his place or mine so it just looks like I'm bringing unused components back in rather than new stuff. Guns are of no use without ammo huh.

Thanks! I load my own ammo too, but unfortunately my husband was home when UPS delivered the package......so when he saw the ORMD lettering all over it, he knew exactly what it was.

 

For what this ammo cost, it was cheaper to buy it loaded than to buy the individual components (if you count the brass too). You can't hardly buy new brass for this price!

I just wish I felt like I had a spare $300 to drop on a case of ammo.  My wife doesn't mind me buying ammo, but she does mind when the credit card bill comes due.

I wish I had seen this thread sooner. I did order some xm193 from target sports USA though. Should be at home when I get off today. Came out to .34/round. The ammo can, clips, and stripper clip guide are nice bonuses too! Edited June 21, 2014 by austin7.62
