S&W 637 ?

I have been looking at getting another S&W model 637 .38spl. I have found a couple of them local and was just wondering what is a fair price for a lightly used one? I think it is a -2 model (has the internal lock) has paperwork saying that it was made on 02/01/2013. I don't want to give him a low ball offer so I thought I'd see what a reasonable price would be.

About $400?

I'd say that's fair considering brand new price, tax, tics, etc.  Assuming it is spotless which is my definition of "lightly used".

We're talking the 637 Airweight, right?

I can get a brand new one from Bud's for 381+ 25 FFL = $406

You can too if you have a FFL that'll do transfers for that.

Bud's even has "make an offer" flagged for it, so maybe even 10 clams less or so.

Well, I'm on my way to get it. He just texted me and said he would take $350 for it! :D

No brainer then. Make sure it works. :)
