Setting in the Dark

A storm rolled through North Knoxville. We have a large tree down in the upper part of the driveway and the power is out. Still raining a little. I was never the one to mix wet grass and asphalt with a chainsaw. Reckon it will wait till tomorrow. So I am setting here, catching up on TGO. Anyone else setting in the dark? Sorry to hear that and hope food doesn't spoil. Make sure you drink any beer you have before it gets warm  :yum:

My power outage was last night for about 3 hours. It was weird trying to sleep in a house that was sooooo quiet...

the funny thing is I've lived in this house for 6 years and up until about 2 months ago we'd only had 2 power outages for a total of maybe 20 minutes. In the last 2 months we have had two outages that lasted several hours each. The only thing I can see that has changed is my neighbor got one of those auto on natural gas emergency generators.

So, I blame them...

Just as I was getting ready to turn in, the power came on. It was out a little over 4 hours.

I had to pick up sticks ( read branches the size of small trees) to get down my driveway just now.   I am scared to see the backyard tomorrow for what will have to be cleaned up.

Hardly any rain I was told.

We lost power for a few hours in the storm a few nights ago. My son thought it was awesome. He was disappointed when we didn't lose power today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kids + Darkness + Flashlights  = hours of fun

Mine turn all the lights off in the house, grab their flashlights, and run around squealing with joy.
