Mega Arms MATEN / AR10 Platform

I've been wanting to build an ar10 for a while now and have run across what looks to be a good deal on an MATEN upper and lower set that I'm seriously considering. Does anyone here have any experience with this particular platform and any feedback on using it for a build? What I've found from digging around is pretty positive, but there isn't a lot of hands-on feedback that I've seen.

I built my long range precision semi in 6.5 creedmoor on a MATEN set. LOVE IT!! It is a well thought out, nicely machined piece. Mega makes some great uppers and lowers and it is ahead of the curve with their tension adjustments and ambi controls. A lot of guys run their stuff in 3gun rifles as they are a higher end well priced part.

I have a monolithic MATEN 308 I built a couple years ago. I love mega stuff. Amazing quality. You won't be disappointed.

There is a thread on here as well about mega builds. Lots of users here have them.
