got snail mail from comcast today telling me to go and download the Wifi App for my phone which would give me more than a half million spots to get internet from while out and about.

 

I tried to do it.  Got a message saying my phone was not compatible.

well, at least one of my neighbors is broadcasting.  I believe I know which one and I bet she does not have a clue.  Going to check with her when I see her outside.  Not going to make a special trip, don't know her that well.  I believe she uses VPN's to work from home so I am sure she will not be happy to know that.

I've found that the infinitywifi has evolved now, you only see one, the one with the strongest signal. You can actually watch it change from one base to another like if you whack your own an turn it back on.

 

I live in apt complex, and when they first cranked it up, I could see 3 or 4 at same time, then it changed.
