From what little I gather, this is my uncle's knife passed down from his father. Anyone know anything about it based on shape and markings?

It could be a home build for all I know.  I'm certainly not fluent in blades, so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks.

Ralph Bone - from my google-foo apparently he quit making knives in the mid 1974-75ish and moved from Lubbock Tx to Colorado to teach. He is gone now I believe. From what I can tell these knives are highly sought after and worth a good chunk of change.

Thanks! That's pretty neat. I know nothing about knives at all.

In that case I'll give ya $25 for it.  Kidding of course.

That's an interesting blade shape.
