Whats up with it looking so bad. Why cant they bring back the sexyness of the PPK?

Different strokes. I never found the PPK sexy. Heavy, with a lousy trigger pull was always my opinion.

Sacrilege, the PPK and PPK/s are iconic.

Love my P99AS, if it feels as good, it's a winner. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

According to Walthers website, the trigger is "similar" to a PPQ, but they didn't mention reset. 5.5lb. pull, .27 travel.

PPQ is 5.5lb, .400 travel, & .10 reset. Love my PPQ in 40. Also, didn't mention anything about interchangeable back

straps.

Not a big fan of manual safeties, but for pocket carry, not a bad idea. If the price was right, I'd trade mt PT709 for one

in a heartbeat. Walther makes great stuff. Had a P99 & now a PPQ. It's going nowhere.

Hmmm. Good comments. Thanks

Steelharp tried to get me into a PPQ Model 2 sometime back. I was tempted, but didn't.

This however does really pique my interest.

Mine is not the M2. It's one of the earlier models with the mag. release under the trigger guard.

Some didn't like the idea of changing to something different than the old standby button.

 Doesn't bother me.

If you try the M2 & don't fall in love with it, I'll be shocked.

Actually, I wanted one of the First Edition models with the threaded barrels at the time.

And Steel couldn't believe I didn't rave over it either. Just didn't make me fall in love with it. Nothing really bad about it...just me I guess.

That's why we have a smorgasbord of types out there. Different strokes for different folks. LOL
