Looking at picking up some ar-15 magazines. I see AIM has a good price on C-products magazines with magpul gen 3 followers. Would these be good reliable mags? Or is there another brand that may be better?

I have quite a few C-Products mags with the Magpul followers and have never had a problem out of them. That being said, if they are asking more than $14 a piece on them, I'd probably be more inclined to spend my money on Magpul PMAGs instead.

I have used c-products both personal and professionally they are great mags. Okay

and Center Ind. mags are issue and work fine. I have heard mixed reviews on P-mags.

CProducts makes good mags, and the AIM price is excellent for mags w/Magpul followers.

Also, you may check 44Mag.com. They have an great selection of AR mags, and they have good prices.

I've been looking to buy a slug of mags to put back. The C-Products certainly look attractive, especially the price. I had read, though, that there were some QC issues in the last few years. Is this true? Does anyone know the rumor/true story to which I'm referring?

Take everything you read on the web with a grain of salt.

Some 15 year old "Operator" couldnt get a magazine to run in his POS rifle built from used gunshow parts, and the next thing you know, all of the other teenagers on ARFCOM are screaming about how people are dying in the streets because of failed magazines.

I have sold over 5000 of these magazines this year, with thousands being used daily in Iraq and other parts of the world.

My personal experience? these mags are good to go.

Yeah. I had consumed the requisite grain of salt. I'm just tight as Dick's hat band, man. Like to get feedback before I lay out the money. Thanks. :D

Understand. Always good to research BEFORE you buy. :D

We can also make you a dope deal on Magpul P-mags if you want to go that route.

I've got some of those coming. The first few I bought are pretty sweet. I have to say they inspire more confidence than any polymer mag I've ever bought, even the AGP's for my S-12.

What type of finish on the C-Products you've got?

I will have to confirm, but I would say both black and the GI grey

Alright. I was curious as to whether they were Marlube, Teflon, or dry film.
