I'm back!

Gosh it's been a year since I was back here. Maybe longer. In that time I've been going gang busters with a work, my family back home and other stuff that has gotten in the way of my favorite hobby.

 

I started working downtown and given the location of where I park and the hours I work I decided it was time to start carrying again. I ended up retiring my Sig P220. I love that gun but it is a hunk of metal and I desired something smaller and lighter. So I ended up with a Springfield XD-S 45ACP. I added a light and laser combination and I am good to go. I am really pleased with it. It's not as accurate as the P220. The feed hates to be operated manually. However it is small and light and speaks the right caliber. I often don't notice it and have to check myself to make sure it's still there!

 

I'm thinking of selling my AR-15. It's given me 7 good years but I am considering selling it and upgrading my Remington 700 to a professional stock or upgrading the AR to an Adams Arms piston gun. I was really impressed with how Adams Arms guns handle when I had a chance to check out a couple at the Stones River Hunters Education Center.

 

I also shoot at The Armory. Nice place.

 

I need to get out shooting some more. Looking forward to getting reaquainted with people here.

I only went shooting once in East out at the Norris range. That was a fun time.
