Alien Gear Holsters

Recommended Posts

I ordered on 12May and received notice of shipment Monday, four weeks exactly from the date of my order.  Based on previous posts that say it's made with thick leather and thick Kydex, I might not like it. I don't like thick holsters, but otherwise reviews have been great, so I'm willing to give it a try. It should arrive this week.

I agree that there are built like a tank, very thick leather and kydex, both of mine fit the pistols like a glove, 1911 and G23. The only thing I would like is some sort of traction on the back against me so it won't wiggle around. Not that it does very much but then I'd be able to loosen the belt up a notch.

Tremendous value for sure and I might even order a couple more. No free bag here.

I've never found a IWB holster that was comfortable enough to wear, but based on the positive reviews I decided to give the Alien Gear a try. It's well-built and very adjustable, but unfortunately for me, these types of holster just don't fit by body size. I can't find a belt/pant/cant combination that is comfortable.  My waist is 30" and EDC is an M&P 9mm Shield. I ordered a Kydex shell for my Kahr PM9 and I'll try it with that gun next.
