A CNN website poll isn't scientific, they even say so when you click to vote.  At best, it's a straw poll of those who visit the CNN website.  Any real polling on gun issues needs to be much deeper than a single question.  It has to gauge emotion on the issue, would it decide your vote or not in a future election, and ask if it would cause you to vote when you normally wouldn't. The issue is too complex for any top layer public opinion that doesn't have any clout.

Yea. All that is right. Still, go ahead and click "no". Don't let them remain in their bubble of stupidity and get the result (a poll showing more in favor of gun control) they are fishing for. Whenever we have an opportunity we need to speak, be heard/counted, and not be passive.

BTW, is was 71/29 in favor of gun control this morning. Just now it was 50/50 with us trailing by 4 votes.

prob is, a network may report results as "news" on broadcast, IF results fits agenda of course.

 

So it can't hurt when gun forums are alerted. Happens all the time, and you can watch the results change as word gets around the net.

It lets you "vote" much as you want, but total doesn't change when you do. At least on a PC.
