This is a IDPA match this weekend, just to give you a heads up !

Funny. Last weekend I shot IDPA and showed up with 6 mag pouches on my belt and no vest. Rickey was kind enough to remind me I was doing it wrong Edited by dlmeadows

LoL , Did they give you points for showing up with the right gun.

We also moved the walls around in the Shoot House (Stage 4) so there should be a reduced possibility of a 180 rule infraction.

Heading that way this evening....can anyone tell me what the traffic around Manchester (Bonnaroo) is like?

I'm in Chattanooga....Should I go I24 or go to Cookeville and take I40?

Posted
Cookeville to 40 to avoid that mess. I live in cookeville and you're looking at 3:15 going that way. I24 right now could be less could be lots more lol

Ok guys and gals, Everything is set up and ready to go. I'll arrive early and set targets. The SO's will meet on bay one at 8:00AM. We will walk through 1-5, shoot them and then move over to 6,7 and 8. I have a couple paid shooters shooting tomorrow also. Any body wanting in still has a chance. I will be at the Sleep Inn at I-40  and Hy 109 3:00-9:00 PM tomorrow (Friday). If you arrive early Saturday (7:00AM) you can sign up then. I'm out of here... :leaving:

Just wanted to say I had a great time Friday shooting this match with the SOs. And it was good meeting and shooting with you MechanicX.

I had to be at my day job today so I had to shoot the match on Friday. While the rain and mud was a little less than optimal, the stages were good and quick and I'm sure the shooters Saturday will have a good time. I do think the SOs should use a water hose today to "mud up" stage 5 so the shooters can "enjoy" the bog like we did yesterday....just to be "fair"..

I was hoping to be able to go out and watch the match but I should have known I would not get to. I hate it when family makes plans for me and don't ask me first if I have plans. I made up my mind yesterday I'm gonna make the mad next time because when they make plans for me I ain't gonna show up and when they ask why I'm just gonna say I have other plans even if I don't have or didn't have. Maybe then they will get the hint but then most of them are not sharp pencils to begin with.....Don't get me wrong. I love my family but they just need some teachings on respect..................jmho

Thanks man, I really appreciate that. Wish I could have been there today. Apparently I got some hardware? I guess they'll mail it to me.

Thank you sirs !! So your the one that give me a run for my money. Great match , we had a good time, hope we can do again.

As for the IWB draw........ Yes it's awesome, you have to see it to believe it.

At the Cup match Chandler was giving away a t - shirt for closest to PF. I was 4th place. 125800 I think. I may need another tenth or two of powder.

If I was brave enough to use my 2.7 grains of e3 at a sanctioned match I could win that with my Glock. It does 850 with 147 grain bullet.......usually.

We usually just handicap him about 15 seconds to keep up with the rest of us.

Great stages and a lot of fun. I did learn that when the SO gives you the crazy look and says why do you want to try that kind of reload, you should take that as a slight heads up...dropping a mag and having to pick it up pushed me into 3rd. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
