Rifle break in

Recommended Posts

Just as he could hear the vibrations and oscillations of the sound, I too have been training my ears for many years as he does and I could hear it.
The sound if stupidity every time he opened his mouth.
I couldn't tell if that was his sign he was shooting.

Is it suposed to be a goof poking fun at ......

It's a goof poking fun at people who break in barrels by firing one shot, cleaning and scrubbing the bore, firing another shot then cleaning and scrubbing the bore and so on and so forth until some arbitrarily defined iterations is achieved.

I break them by shooting them...  Every rifle I've owned usually shot better than me.  Unless you are a serious target shooter, I don't know that it really matters.  And even then, most serious target shooters change out their barrels every so often.  And those barrels they change out, would be fine for most everyone else, whether you are a plinker or a hunter.

Is it suposed to be a goof poking fun at another video? if not thats a ............. although i did know someone who scratched his new truck on purpose just to get it out of the way.

Remind me to go buy a car and scratch it before leaving the dealer lot and tell them I am "breaking it in"  :panic:

I normally get those innitial harmonics from my 270 by bounceing a brick off the rifle while it is in a vice. Then, I remove the cow barrel and repeat with the bull barrel. This way I have 2 perfectly broken in barrels that are in perfect harmony, like 2 part harmony if you will!
