Phrases, such as that, have become too gimmicky IMO. Ever since "300" hit theaters, I've seen teens running around wearing the shirts and sporting tattoos... and most aren't even old enough to own weapons. It meant more when the military and firearms crowds knew the relevance and mainstream media didn't.

It's just been overused and watered down.
