Very concerned on where this country is headed. With his socialist views, his uber liberal views, his connections (no matter how innocent he says), with people that hate the United States of America, he scares me on what he has planned if he gets elected. I'm not concerned that he is democrat, or black. I would vote for a conservative democrat if they were one running. I know we talk about 2nd amendment rights on here and yes, I think they are very important, but that is just one small part of what is going on.

Something else that scares me is the possible death of the conservative view. The liberal media, the liberal hollywood/famous on tv group, and the ignorance, the stupidity, the blatant disregard for independent thought of the people of this country and their desire to follow whatever is "popular" right now and would follow these numbnutz off a cliff and drink their kool aid scares the hell out of me. We talk about zombies, hell they are "alive" and well, and will do whatever they are told, they are called liberals.

So yes I am concerned.

Concerned? Sure I am concerned. I am afraid of what he will do as far as foreign relations go. I am afraid he will not have the cojones to stand up to some of the Rogue nations and tell them how things are going to be in the US of A.

Terrified, actually. I honestly think if he tries to do anything as far as banning firearms, there will be a revolt. Mark my words.

Didn't Montana actually threaten to secede from the union a year or 2 ago if firearms were banned or something like that? Oh yeah, the DC handgun supreme court case, thats right. I can't find a good link, just forums, but at least someone copied and pasted to this one.

yeah, it was threatened, the question is would they have the courage to actually go through with their threat?

most states, just like most people will sit idly by as the FED usurps more and more unconstitutional unauthorized power unto themselves, and for the most part, no one will do anything. Maybe an Obama presidency would be a good thing, as the final ultimate denial of our constitutionally recognized right to keep and bear arms for our defense and liberty MAY actually get people to realize how far we've fallen from that republic the founders dreamed of. A friend of mine on another forum referred to it as the "pull the plug" vote...

If Obama can win the election and also gain a vetoproof majority of the Congress as well, then its hard to say how socialistic the next administration will be. If he wins and doesn't have the support of the Congress then much of his mischief will be thwarted.

His biggest impact will no doubt be with who he appoints to the Federal and Supreme Courts, if appointments materialize as many expect. Don't forget, the D.C. Case was passed with just a 5-4 majority. If any of the conservative judges retire, you can be sure the new replacements will be liberal. anti-gun, anti-second amendment jurists.

Why does everyone refer to Obama as black? I think that I read somewhere that he is 50% white, 38% arabic, and 12% black. How does that make him black? :tough:

P.S. I'm certainly not an Obama supporter nor am I prejudice. I just don't understand how many of the black voters can say that he is one of them.

In the United States, dark = black ;)

I don't know how far you want to go back to find out exactly what the mix is, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madelyn_and_Stanley_Dunham = grandp'z.

Quadafi calls Obama "the Arab from Kenyan who will be the president of the United States."

But then what does Quadafi know anyway?

All may not be lost if the anointed one does actually make it to the White House. One can look at the decades of socalist policies that Europe has been under and how quickly their voters have elected right leaning leaders (even Frahance :hiding:). If he does make it all the way, safe bet to say he won't last more than one term and get defeated badly next election. Big question will be is how long it will take to undo the damage his policies will cause.

Amen. Precisely why grace will suffice until His ultimate judgment comes. That will be swift, just, final and ultimate.

Rev. Graham said it best... "I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds my future."

And God's people said...

Amen.

I'm not excessively concerned about it. At this point, I'm resigning myself to the fact that he probably is going to be the next president. But I'm still going to order the rest of that AR before election day.

I can only hope that, if elected, Congress will be able to filter out some of his more socialistic stuff. And beyond that, I hope that what does filter through reminds America how much we don't want him in DC. I'm hoping for Jimmy Carter II.

In the end, life will go on with him in the White House. The four, or God forbid eight years will pass, and we'll move on, and hopefully repair some of the damage he'll do.

In other words, whatever happens, we'll deal with it as best we can.

Kidding, right?

Like a lifetime could undo the damage from the LAST 8 years?

Hmmmm, they can't call him white, that tight curled hair and skin color doesn't pass the test. They can't call him Arab, because that's a bad marketing angle for a President in these times. So by default, he's gotta be black. That would have been a good question to ask him at the latest debate. "Senator Obama, based on your family tree, you are more white, than arab and black, can you explain why you chose to associate yourself with the smallest ethic portion of your heritage?" He would stutter and show he can't answer questions that require an actual thought. OR, he would change the topic like any typical politician.

I think Obama is scary and I hope he doesn't win, but I am not going to worry a whole lot. I will cast my vote and let that be my voice.

Obama will want to tax and spend. McCain will want to borrow and spend. Neither of them are worth a damn.

Doesn't much matter to me which one wins but if McCain wins and has bad health problems, we're screwed. His runningmate is a total idiot.

I'm scared, and despite what gallup polls and media say about him leading, I know I've never been called for any polls, so I'm not convinced of their accuracy on a personal level. But Obama scares me for what he will drag this country through if elected.

I too have several purchases to make but im focusing a little more on ammo. Obama is the anti christ i think. He will tax tax tax and the minority will benefit benefit benefit. If congress doesnt kiss his butt theyre rascist swine. The middle working class will pay for it all and suffer on like always.

I'm not scared, but I did go ahead and order the rest of my AR15 parts from Anvil Arms the other day...
