It's been said time and time again, but it still amazes me that some people believe these stupid gun bans signs work.

I am so glad they got what they ask for.  Criminals with guns.  One could almost say since they said the stage they conspired with them.

Kahrman,

Tell us how you really feel.

It just warms my heart when karma bites someone in the ass.

No, but it is ironic since this outfit inserted themselves into national media on the cause.

He went out of his way to insult all people who carry by calling us pathetic losers. If he had just put up a no guns sign and then gotten robbed, I wouldn't have laughed.

They do work HP. Every time I see one I turn around and just leave. You can bet it did work on 99.9% of all the law biding citizens that would have normally been in there eating that weren't because of the signs. The bad guys are becoming more and more dedicated to looking for the No Gun Signs more than ever. Now they don't have to worry about a law biding citizen or three blowing their heads off while protecting themselves and their family at dinner............jmho

Guys dont get me wrong, I am sure some have,

I Just want yall to think about things, I would like to carry open every day.

However that just makes a lot of people very upset. Star Bucks and Chipolata come to mind.

In the past few weeks I have done a lot of thinking about this stuff. Wish I could put into words how I feel about

the direction our country is going, but all that happens is I get mad and loose my train of thought.

We should be more active in the election process, from start all the way to the vote.

A few of us will not change the country by carrying open into a loaction.

However if we get the right people into office we can change the direction.

So send a few letters to the places that do not let us defend our self. Let them know that we are not "Gun Nuts".

We are just people that think this country is great and enjoy our freedoms that to many have died for.

Just dont wish bad things to happen because some do not feel the same as we do.

Do you think the owners of this restaurant now believe that the no gun signs are part of the reasons that they were robbed. I bet he still believes that guns are still the reasons he is robbed. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

I know the owner of this place is a real bag of liberal BS. When he stated his patrons felt uncomfortable around people with guns. Wonder how they felt during an armed robbery. Not really! they were scared out of their minds.
But to the point of some of the recent stores saying they prefer you not to open carry. I understand their position. When some of the 2nd amend groups show up with AR15's slung over their back or fronts it can/will make a lot of people uncomfortable. Tell me how you would feel. Sitting with your family eating a nice meal. You with your back to the wall, facing the entrance and watching as a group of men enter with AR's?? Now you are carrying as usual, so what is your first reaction? I bet it is totally different than several men coming in with a weapon holstered on their belts.

The dude is an idiot and put his customers in danger the way I see it. But I'm sure most of them either don't care or are of the same mindset.
I've gotta say though, it disgusts me that in today's society, I feel the need to carry a firearm.
I was walking my beagle yesterday and came up to a gas station where a pimped out purple ride rolled in with the 24" rims, and PA system blaring some crappy noise coming out of it very very LOUD, this pos of course let it blast for the entire time. Point is no respect, there was an older couple pumping gas as well as numerous other customers being respectful of each other. I became rather angry of course but didn't confront the low life due to the probable outcome.
My point? While there are a lot of good people still around, there are too many with this level of disrespect.
It is too bad these punks that robbed the BBQ joint weren't stopped in their tracks, now they are out there with another notch in their ways and will surely be at it again. Today's society, by liberals for liberals, the rest of us are now in the midst.
Sickening!

In general, the wording on that sign strikes me as coming from a man who doesn't have a business mind set.  Sort of a "its my way or the highway, I'm right, you the customer are stupid" kind of feeling.  I don't think I would go in there anyway even if I did agree about not being armed on the premises, so I wouldn't be subjected to being called a douche for dropping my fork.
