Freechex Homemade Gas Checks?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Have any bullet casters here used this?  Specifically the Freechex III.  I saw it mentioned over on the 300blktalk forum.  I'm seriously considering buying one in each rifle and magnum handgun caliber I cast for.  Well, when I can afford to, that is.    I'm guessing Dolomite is at least familiar with the tool.

Thanks,

Will

i got two of the freechex ii models. had them for several years.  they do what they should do after you learn how to run them and what material is best to use.  i look at the iii model but the ii model does what i need.

Awesome. Thanks. Maybe I'll get a II model for the lower volume caliber and a III for the higher volume.*

*When I refer to high and low volume rounds, I'm referring to how much I'd LIKE to shoot. Not how much I actually do. sigh.....
