Need to pull some bullets...

Anyone in the Columbia area have a collet puller? I have 100 .223 rounds to pull, my die moved and I didn't catch it in time. Crimped too early and bulged the case. Die is fixed now but need to pull these and all I have is an impact puller.

Figured would ask here and borrow one if possible, otherwise I will set these aside and go ahead and order one. Thanks!

Use the impact puller. I used one to tear down 2,000+ of 7.62x25.

Holy hell...I have hated doing the 25 I had to do once before. Can't even imagine...
Guess I will get to it with the impact puller and save that money for some powder.

If your near hendersonville bring them over. Just pulled 400 223 two days ago myself I've been neglecting since I lived in Mn years ago. I have a rcbs collect puller and it works great.

I pulled a dozen with the kinetic puller and decided that was enough. Started thinking about how I could pull them easier, and grabbed my channel lock, wrapped them in tape, and pulled the bullets in no time. Round in the shell holder, raise the ram, grab the bullet tightly and slowly lower the ram. Same concept as a collet puller.

Even with the tape, I damaged/scratched some of the jackets, but these are inexpensive FMJ for plinking only so not worried. If they were a higher end bullet I would have stuck with the kinetic puller.
