Forgive my dissent.

Recognizing it is "harmless fun",   I still do not believe continued annoyance of a WW clerk (who has to reset the inventory) is placing our best foot forward in support of 2A.

Dissent echoed.  It is good fun if it does not interfere with someone else's property and business.  If it were my business, and I caught wind of you all doing that, I would post cameras and annoy you right back with prosecution with whatever law I could use... even if it didn't stick, your attorney fees would most likely keep you from doing it agtain.... and by the way, this thread would be evidence that I would find.

Not everyone will follow the Golden Rule, but basic political wisdom says that - when in a "public battle", you sure as heck keep your image spotless "out in the open".  That's how the dirty players on the other side of the ball do it.  Are they just smarter than us?.... or are they just more comitted to winning?

As a former Walmart stockman, cart pusher and Pet Department associate, I approve. Harmless fun. If someone did this in my department I'd get a chuckle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

once is an anomaly. If it happened routinely, would you still approve? Are you able to speak for WM associates in general?

How many events does it take to become a nuisance?

Except for the fact that you would go broke trying to prove a point, that is an awesome idea!  Next on the list is the disabled guy that picked up two pairs of scissors instead of one, and stuck the extra pair on the shelf next to the yogurt instead of placing it back on the scissor holder.

And just out of curiosity, if you owned a business and wanted to find out who read a magazine in the checkout isle and put it back instead of buying it, how exactly do you plan on tracking that person down from a single post on one of the internet's 985,000,000 active websites?

apples/oranges ....... you are blurring the distinction between deliberate mischief and downright laziness.

Ahhh. It all makes sense now.

Many months back I was at my local Wal-Mart and as I walked up to the register at the sporting goods section I noticed the same sign that someone had placed right in front of the register. I was really confused considering there were AR-15's 5 feet behind the sign.

Someone needs to buy on and put it on the Welcome to <whatever town Beretta is moving to> and see how long it takes before someone notices.

Another former Walmart employee who approves.  I say that a different set of rules apply to Walmart.

Well, putting on my grown up hat, even though I don't want to - I do have to agree with this.

Still funny though.

All in good humor,of course keeping good karma in mind, u can't do something like this unless you spend money in the store....Plus I don't think anyone can show me a law that says its a crime to voluntarily aid a merchant in their loss mitigation program.gun stuff belongs in sporting goods, not mailbox accessories <efg>...

Having to restock a shelf or relocate an item every so often wouldn't be a concern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Heard (read) a story once of some druggie actually trying to cook up some meth in a store...
