Thanks man! I have to confess, you started this madness when you let me shoot your full-auto SBR at the range that day. :)

Seems like Joe is to blame for many a thing around here...hmmmmm? I smell conspiracy.

It's ok.

And yes, I'm jealous.

That is one very clean looking SBR! I am jealous!

I have looked at a lot of folks SBR's and I like them and would like to have one myself but that is as far as I have gotten...

Hey Tungsten, I admire your CQBR set-up.

I was just reading over your list of what you have. I am looking at what kind of buffer to get and I see you have the H2.

Has it been working reliably with cheap target ammo? I'm just wondering because I plan to get a BCM auto-BCG and I'm trying to figure out what buffer to run.

Right now all I have is the Carbine-buffer and I'm sure it needs a heavier one, just not sure what.

It's working flawlessly with that buffer setup. I have a standard carbine buffer in my box of parts if I ever need to swap out for some reason, but the H1 and H2 were both highly recommended by "people who know".

Sweet SBR!

...I just want you to know, rigs like that are the main contributor to my ever-worsening case of BRD. I'm literally drooling, man.

Tungsten, it is a smooth shooter, and as I said, "Way too much fun." Including the single point sling it is one sweet firearm!

Hey Tung on your form 1 your finger is over the box that asks "Why do you want to build this". Are my eyes deceiving me or did you put the word Allowed? I am thinking along the lines of "because I'm Allowed to" too funny

NO, collection purposes isn't a smart assed answer. It is a legitimate answer since the BATFE recognizes that some of us as freedom loving Americans do collect rifles.

If you feel like wasting several months of your time, go ahead and put something like "Because I can" on a Form 1 or Form 4 and send it on in to them. They'll read it as the sort of silly, penny ante bull**** that it is and send your form back to you and tell you to try it again.

Frankly I don't understand why some people feel like they should try and make a political statement every time they interact with the government. Do you think the BATFE agent assigned as the Examiner for a Form 1 or Form 4 is somehow responsible for the screwed up laws? Here's a hint: NO.

If you want to make a political statement, do it at the voting booth. Deal with the jackasses who pass these inane laws to begin with. But don't take it out on the guy or gal sitting in West Virginia at the BATFE office, just doing their damn job.
