new AR "value on a budget" build

IMG_0736_zps90bd7236.jpgLOL.. here is a new improved pic with the scope mounted correctly! Oh well at age 65 this was my first AR build after years of owning factory rifles, Live and learn! Anyway I  Just installed the Timney trigger today and it is so smooth! Quite an addictive process with all the researching and parts ordering...hope it doesn't become a "habit"!  :)

That sounds like more of a value build than a budget one. Sounds like you built one heck of a rifle for your money. Hope it treats you well.

Budget and Timney aren't even in the same dictionary.  :lol:

it shot well with the stock trigger but I hope to get a little more accuracy with the Timney.

I'm sorry but I must point out the elephant in the thread. You know your scope mount is backwards right?

LOL! I did not know! I do have proper eye relief but I kept wondering why it was so difficult to adjust this mount. I must be getting more senile than I thought.  DUH! :stunned:

It's just made to let you push your scope forward for proper eye relief. I used the same mount on one of mine and love it, solid as they come
