I cannot believe this but ya'll remember me and the Robins, Right. Well about 5 days after the babies flew the nest I removed it from the light fixture and threw it in my trash can. Went out the other day and saw a few strands of vine type stringers hanging from the same light fixture and thought I had missed a few so reached up and pulled the down and threw them in my trash can. Today I went out to talk with a  few buddies that stopped by and one of them said Look at that nest on your light. Yep, sure nuff another pair of Robins has built yet another nest on the same light and since they have it completed I'm gonna leave it and see how many babies I will be feeding this round. Last pair had 4. I cannot believe they are nesting this late in the year but they are. Will post pictures of the new nest soon as I take some and down load them. I cannot believe this means more trips to the bait store for Crickets and Meal worms............    pictures of nest # 2

Man, I literally have the same issue near my front door. drives me crazy! no matter how many times I take the new nest down, days later a new one pops up!

Well, this is a new pair of Robins. I had a pair there two weeks ago raise 4 young and once the young left the nest I removed the old nest and threw in in my trash can and now this is another new pair getting ready to raise their young in the same place as the other nest was I removed. I guess I will be feeding another family of babies. I put Mela worms and Crickets out on the gravel drive and they get them and take them up and feed the young birds. There at the end they would wait for me to walk right up to them and put the meal worms down and fly right passed me to the nest. They were not scare of me at all towards the end.

We were having that problem at our church building under the drive thru/carport roof on a brick ledge.  The ledge was just big enough for one nest.   The birds were making a mess.   I finally took a filled water bottle with the label peeled off and sat it on the ledge.   The bottle is almost invisible and stopped the problem.

Well, it's not really an issue with me. I don't mind it. They are just doing what nature tells them to do and I will help them when these hatch with meal worms and crickets until the babies leave again..........
