Remington makes a move... actually, several.

We already knew about Remington's new Huntsville facility, which opened earlier this year. But recently there has been a whole lot of info, rumors, hearsay, etc. regarding consolidation within Big Green.

I found this pretty interesting-- looks like they're moving a whole bunch of stuff to Huntsville, not just 1911's and AR's... I consider this pretty good news-- even if Freedom Group is still calling the shots.

Of course, Remington has yet to make an "official statement."

I read earlier about the AAC and DPMS changes. Think was on The Truth About Guns page.
Maybe will get an official statement tomorrow.

I read somewhere that Remington had been sold from Freedom Group/Cerebus

As I understand it, Freedom Group still holds the reigns at Remington.

Hence, all of these FG brands being moved to Huntsville. Cerberus is the one that bailed-- divesting the assets of FG.
