I was thinking of that knife or a Microtech Troodon, having a hard time deciding.

I gotta stay away from that site!  Every time I look there I find another knife I need.  Last visit has a Pro Tech Dark Angel headed to me.

Let me know your thoughts when you get the Dark Angel, I have two Custom stainless ones that I absolutely love but I have never handled a production model, it may be worth doing a TGO run of them in the future

Willis and the rest of you guys have ruined my budgeting. I now find myself lusting after and Infidel.

Before you go there, PM me when you are ready there are MANY better options out there for you

I received my Dark Angel today.  As other Protech knives, it was very sharp and the craftsmanship was excellent.  The desert sand aluminum handle looks very nice with the stonewash blade.  This is my first single action OTF knife and I quickly learned to keep my fingers clear of the retraction lever.  The nylon sheath was a welcome addition as I hadn't expected it to be included.

I believe the Dark Angel would be a great knife for a TGO run.

Never did get back to you on advice, but as I think you know; I did end up getting a Troodon.

Probably paid a little too much since it was from SMKW, but the fever was upon me, and it just looked and felt so good.

But do thank you for the intent anyway. Maybe on the next. LOL

Having worked in Asia, I've seen good and poor copies of watches, knives and electronic devices.  You get what you pay for --a copy is a copy.

If I choose to get a copy, I expect to get a copy price, not a few dollars less than a quality item.

Thanks to you and ProTech for putting the TGO knife Godfather Edition together.  This is a very nice knife!
