Is the XP update site still up? I know that Microsoft is no longer updating XP, but have they taken the site down yet? I don’t have an XP machine available right now to try it.

the site is up, but xp updates are no longer available. you might be able to find them individually, use Belarc Advisor, you might be able to find the missing ones and download via the KB #.

My lap top still has XP. i noticed this morning I was receiving an automatic update.

Microsoft did release an update to XP to fix a major issue with internet explorer that would allow an attacker the ability to assume control of your pc.

I don't expect any more updates, but was glad to see this come through.

I am still using XP and I actually got security update this morning from Windows and it down loaded them and there was 4. Like most folks I thought they quit doing it also. Maybe they were something my Computer was suppose to have that had not received when it was suppose to. I have no clue but this has been the third time since they were suppose to stop updating it that I have gotten some.......

Only thing I've gotten in last couple weeks was the "notification that support has ended" update and the malicious software checker, which looks like they're gonna keep dumping out.

Far as I know, you can still go to update site and get XP updates for any machine not up to date with whatever they had before the end support date.

I think they are doing my machine automatically because this machine was originally my back up computer and was completely wiped and reprogramed last year with XP and then stored  for over a year and I just reactivated two weeks ago and I have been getting updates about every 2 or 3 days since i put it back in service..............jmho
