Range day! WOOO!!!!!

Went yesterday to the range, first time in months. Decided to take some of the toys out. I will admit, my three builds ran like champs,  my c93 got some more lovin, and the FAL broke the bank. My friend brought out some of his toys and I got to fire a  spring field 1903 and a old colt revolver in 45 long colt. Range wouldnt let me fan it, but it wasnt so bad. I will admit tho, as fun as that FAL is, I wish .308 was cheaper. Sorry, had to get it out. Been a LONG time since the last range day. Best part? Most people were not ready when I fired the FAL. I wish I could do this more often.

Good for you man! Nothing like it except shooting non paper on your own property. I'm due for one myself and plan on bringing most of em to get the dust off and show I still appreciate em!

Glad you had the opportunity. This was a an absolutely beautiful day for a range session.

 

I don't usually get to go on weekends. The wife is home and there's always things to do. I try for weekdays now, and it's usually not very crowded.

I got out yesterday. Unfortunately, I must have had a batch of bad ammunition. It either went "bang" and nothing hit the paper or the bullet hooked left or sliced right. Hit to a non-threat and failure to nuetralize is still ringing in my ears. Sure beat cutting four acres of grass...
