Do you see a side walk?

Some video from my Dash Cam.  To women walking down the road instead of using the sidewalk.

I don't understand people sometimes. Seems like common sense don't exist anymore. If people want to put themselves in harms way, that's their stupidity, but they don't need to do it to where others can be in danger.

Pausing the video... They look like Mexicans.... I see them doing this a lot, I don't understand why. I saw a guy walking in the gutter like that the other day with the sidewalk literally 12" away.

Maybe they are more afraid of being run over by a bicycle than they are a car or like stated above they may be from a country that does not have sidewalks. Either way you can't fix Stupid..............jmho

That was my assessment as I drive by and I believe my eyes are a bit better then the camera.  That is just a Lcheapo camera but at least it would show fault.

Heck it even records my speed and shows a location on google maps once the sd card it put in my PC.

Some people are predisposed to park on the sidewalk, and walk in the street. Since there were no vehicles on the sidewalk, they must have been outside their neighborhood.

I've even seen people running and biking in Townsend on hwy 321 when there is a really nice paved bike/running path a few feet off the road. Not Mexicans either.

Probably tourons.

Not sure about the ladies in the video... That is not safe. As for Townsend, asphalt generally compresses a bit more than concrete, so distance runners may use it to avoid shin splints & foot injuries. It is not safe to ride a road bike @ speed on any sidewalk. ...they are for walking.

I see very little difference between this and someone on a bicycle. They're both road hazards.

Just the other day, in downtown Nashville, I was on Broadway turning left onto 12th Avenue (by the McDonalds), and out of the corner of my left eye, I saw an IDIOT on a very expensive bike (in full biking regalia) who was passing between me and the car waiting at the light on 12th. He almost got his clock cleaned, and I sat down on the horn. No acknowledgement that he had done anything wrong. I had my window down and when he turned left on the next street, I let him know what I thought about it.

Flippin' moron.
