Did it take them 3 weeks to fix an error on your form 4? I received an error letter about a week and a half ago and was wondering how long from correcting the mistake it would take to come back. Thanks, Shag

3 weeks from the time I dropped the corrected 4 in the mailbox. I also sent it to a specific dept and not a general address

Yeah I made a couple of mistakes on the original form 4 and it got kicked back.Once fixed,from the time I dropped it back into the mailbox, took three weeks to come back w a stamp.

You wasted 3wks, you need to double, triple and quadruple check everything, trust me, I did it once and I still have chest pains thinking about it.

i used a template that showed a name along w name of trust, 1st mistake, 2nd mistake was over can length, and 3rd was over caliber...but you are correct, i will triple check every form 4 from now on

I never had to go through the shellback thing but I watched. Got a bluenose cert for arctic service though.

Just an update. I received an error letter dated 4/17/2014 and called today and was approved on 5/28/2014. Come on USPS!
