Declaration of Independence in Nashville

The Declaration of Independence...one of the 25 original copies at least is at the downtown public library. Went today to see it...even in a little room with two older guys standing guard...it made shills run down my spine. Thinking about those men who were traitors to the crown that gave us our liberty.

I'm wondering what they think of us today.

I've seen one of the copies. Very emotional, especially if you take the time to read it. Read the actual document, not from a book or anything. It's like Nicolas Cage said in National Treasure, "People don't talk like that anymore."

They would be organizing the citizen militia to overthrow the current tyranny that has evolved from their efforts.

how long will it be in nashville. where in nashville is the library?

It's leaving today (Monday) It's at the main library on Church Street. I think it's open until 5.

If possible get there early. There were tons of people there, but the line moved pretty well.
