Local politician offered to go shooting with me.

I have been meaning to say this, I was working on my wife's car a while back and Zach Bates came around campaigning.

I was in the middle of changing a tail light on my wife's car when he stopped to talk.

I didn't have any real questions ready for him, but I did manage to ask him where he stood on the 2nd Amendment.  He told me very pro and even show me what he was carrying.

We did get to talking a little and he even said if I ever wanted to to let him know when I was going shooting and if he was available he would like to go.  He said if he won or not, either way if I wanted to invite him out to the range sometime.   I thought that was a nice touch.

He is running for the County Mayor.

If I asked my political leaders what they were carrying he would unholster a black ink pen and a pocket constitution, cross off the second amendment and say "the new world order..."

Sighhhh. can't leave herer fast enough.

I had been thinking when ammo gets a little better about asking if he wants to go one weekend.

Judging from the state of things, you're not getting paid anything.   :2cents:

Judd Matheny does a charity shoot every year. I RSO'd one year ('10) when it was in Tullahoma and sponsored by Hero Gear, that was fun. Edited by molonlabetn

Are you a lawyer? Do you watch Lawyer shows? Have you ever dreamed you were a lawyer or knew a lawyer?  If you answer YES to any of these questions.....wear body armor!

Yep, sure was, out at the National Guard range. I'm sure there's pictures somewhere

And it was 2009, I misremembered... And I didn't make it into the photoshoot apparently, they probably figured I'd break the camera: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/12886-tn-house-of-representatives-range-day-aedc-2009/?fromsearch=1 Edited by molonlabetn

That's it...

Joe tried to sell me a M60 back then and I couldn't justify the $$ after already transferring several pending NFA goodies through HG, looking back that was a freaking mistake.
