Glock Got Me

Here lately though I've had thoughts of trading or selling mine off and just go with a 26 and 17. Kind of like having both worlds instead of the best of both worlds combined. Ask me how I know![/quote] If you're referring to me, I have the 19 currently. I sold off my other Glocks and regret it. I don't conceal it very well in the summer so I have been thinking about getting a 26 just for the summer. Right now my only smaller option is an LCP and I hate that thing. If you were referring to someone else, my fault

I'm 5'9" and weigh 130lbs. I'm about as small a guy as it gets. If I can conceal the 19 all year long in Florida anybody can.  Crossbreed Supertuck and a T shirt-no one ever knows. About 80% of the time I carry OWB in a comp-tac paddle holster and still hide it decently.

I'm 6'3" 240 and I use an alien gear IWB around 4:30ish, that's just what's most comfortable. In all reality, I may just buy both. At one point or another I've had the whole 9mm line minus a 34 and gave them up stupidly. I MUST have a 17 again though since I've gotten back into pistol shooting quite a bit

I took home a 32 today, will become my edc, easier to conceal over my TP-9. Got it for great price, and it's my first Glock.

I came across a deal on a G27 I couldn't pass up a number of years ago and while I liked it it was a bit small to shoot, it became a safe queen till I figured out I could use any .40 cal mag. Brilliant! Then I rethought the whole picture and decided to add a G23, simply unbelievable. It conceals better than I could have imagined and has a stock 13 rounds.

An den a G21 followed me home to join my .45 line up. Again, incredible.

The 23 beat out my compact 1911 for carry now for both the reliability and sheer quantity of rounds.

It's weird, I never thought I would like them. My XD9sc feels better in the hand and points more naturally, but I rented a G26 because I conceal better with the shorter grip and decided I would see how much my performance suffered and if it was worth the tradeoff.

Then something weird happened. I actually shot better with it when it came to rapid firing.

With single shots it was about the same, but despite the shorter grip, despite not being as comfortable or pointing as naturally, I was able to control it better and get a tighter group faster. Maybe it was because of the lower bore axis, maybe it was because the grip angle made it a little faster to acquire that front sight in between shots, I don't know.. Your mileage may vary but I guess the old saying applies: go with what you shoot the best!

I am still going to get an M&P9c eventually but for now the G26 has replaced my XD
