So we're in Gulf Shores on vacation. I noticed where there was a gun show a few miles down the road, so we stopped by.

I ended up acquiring a Winchester Model 1200 pump gun. Wood furniture, decent + finish, clean, and a smooth action. Dealer says it's a retired Corrections gun.

OTD..........$ 150.

Unable to post pics right now, but how'd I do shotgun guys ?

Who here wouldn't do that? Go to a gun show on vacation. Awesome.

Those in the know say the Winchester action is a lot smoother and quicker than the famed 870.

You've done well. I agree a 1200/1300 is smoother. I have a 1300 that I've had for years and never had any problems out of it.

I just got back from Perdido Key and Orange Beach yesterday. Where was the gun show? I hate that I missed it

The show was in Robertsdale at the fairgrounds. Not a big show, but decent. Long guns galore.........

Weather has been perfect so far................we come twice a year; love it here. :)
