Please take out any 30 yard shots and "boats" I don't think my "skill" (aka dumb luck) can hold out for another match. :rofl:

I think the other drivers between Nashville and Oak Ridge would probably appreciate it if you'd keep an eye on the road and not the stage descriptions while you are driving in Friday morning......

Just make sure there are no "speed reloads"..... and make sure that nothing is written so that a target can be "Blown up" and kill a "no shoot" and yet  still be a "failure to neutralize" the target t

Dibs on sharing spiffy's umbrella!  Hoping the rain they call for holds out till the afternoon as it typically does.  

 

I'll give you the password!  If your wife comes and we all do get our squad requests to shoot together, they can plot against us.

 

 

 

I still need to find the start time and stuff.

Does that include match staff?

It should include match staff. I think they were saying they were gonna cut it off at 80 shooters but might have changed their minds

Actually I believe the cap is 120

Any word on when stages will be available on the site? 

 

 

I'm beginning to think it'll be Monday... :cool:

 

 

But it does seem like it was the Wednesday before the match last year my friend.

You don't get a preview in real life SHTF situations. Stage previews will get you killed on the streets

So will eating too many doughnuts but people still do that everyday too....

 

Yes I agree, in the REAL WORLD you don't get to see it in advance.....but IDPA is not a REAL criminal assault it is a game we play to keep from having to clean the house and mow the lawn one weekend every month. As such...I'd like to see the stages. 

 

If we made a "sport" that was just like the real thing only 3 people would show up....and they'd all go home with bruises and bruised egos.

I know you were joking and that is how I took it.....I should have stuck a smiley in there so it didn't sound like I was "lecturing" or taking it as anything other than how it was intended.

 

That is the problem with the written word, and the internet in general,  the intent, ironic humor and sarcasm do not come across the way they would in a conversation where we can see each other's faces and read body language.

 

No worries, I took it as you intended it and my response was in the same light hearted (if ironic and sarcastic ) mood.
