I've got a couple knives I need sheaths for. Anyone know of a reasonably priced leather smith in or around Nashville?

Not sure of one around Nashville, but Gjohnsoniv, a member here, does excellent work. He's out near Knoxville, if I remember right, so shipping something wouldn't be bad.

I have just started myself, trying to make sheaths for the knives I've made. I also made myself a heavy duty, front pocket wallet.

This x1000. I have holsters, sheaths on other stuff from Gjohnson. Hes actually making me a fork bag and bed roll straps for my bike right now. Hes in Knoxville but does excellent hand stitched work, and is a perfectionist.

Another vote for gjohnsoniv... And on this very topic, I got a knife that needs a sheath. I'll be in touch in a week or two. :)

Just trying to help out the Nashville guys , not to outdo you gjohnsoniv.

Completely understand, not my job so I don't take offense if I get passed over.

Not a great photo, but here I am wearing a custom Glock 27 holster he made. I am several miles underground in a cave putting this thing through the wringer. Worked perfect!!udu5esat.jpg Sent barefoot from the hills of Tennessee

^^ Looks nice, but I'm confused. Do you have both a left and right hand holster? The first two are right hand and the last one is a left. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Pay a visit to the Tandy store on Nolansville Rd. and get what you need to do it yourself.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks. I found a guy locally and have commissioned a knife sheath. I'll post photos as soon as its done.

If it doesn't work out for whatever reason, I can probably help you. I'm about an hour north of Nashville.

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind.
