grace period for out of state ltch

Wanted to verify my belief was correct from what I have read I will have 6 months to get a TN license? From what I have read that appears to be the case. We are closing on our house May 5th and will officially become residents.

As a general rule threads are not deleted because it wreaks all sorts of havoc.  There is a more detailed explanation somewhere around here if you wanna search for it.

I read it on the TN state safety board website or whatever and assumed it was as I read-- but this is in fact true, right?  It's always a little hard to believe good news.   I know you have to have residence for 60d or something before you can apply for the state permit though... so it makes sense.

You can get a TN permit immediately after establishing residence. You have 6 months after establishing residence before you must get a TN permit to continue to legally carry.
