Benelli M2 20 gauge barrels?

I have an old friend who wants to get a 24 or 26" barrel for his 20 gauge M2 but is having a devil of a time getting one.  His has a slug barrel on his M2 he likes but he wants a field barrel with choke options for turkey and other game.  Is there a secret handshake or code word needed to get a M2 barrel?  If not where could I get one for him?

Thanks

Good luck.  Even finding 12 gauge Benelli barrels is tough, and they're crazy expensive if you do find one.  :yuck:

Is the slug barrel rifled?

He wants to keep his slug barrel, but wants a field barrel to go along with it.  I have no clue if his current barrel is rifled or not.

If it isn't rifled (and I don't think Benelli offered a 20 gauge rifled barrel), it might be easier (and definitely cheaper) to get it threaded for choke tubes than to buy a new barrel.  There are even barrel extensions that screw in place of a choke and give you 4-6 extra inches of barrel if he wants the extra velocity.
