Got a 35 gen 3
Popped in a lone wolf conversion barrel
I need to change my springs, have looked at wolf spring site, am inclined to go w a 34 spring set and rod. Am I thinking this correctly or do I need to change anything else?
Thanks

Really, I wouldn't change anything but the barrel. I assume you are converting to 9mm? Factory 9mm magazines do help but it isn't a necessity. A lot of 9mm guys are running 40 extractors and ejectors on purpose to eliminate brass to face issues.

There is nothing you can do to make it as reliable as a factory G34, shoot 9mm and carry it/ night stand it as a 40. The 40 handles like a puppy dog out of the G35.

I had an Issue where the 35 would fire 2 rounds then stay open and wouldn't chamber a round. Am using glock 9 mil mags w 115 grn brass.... The barrel is a lone wolf 40 to 9 conversion barrel. I want to shoot 9 mm w this 35 instead of having to get into a 34

This is actually typical, most 115 gr 9mm is incredibly week ammo. In fact, Glock 19's have a beveled chamber hood because of ejection problems(it's weird that the 26,17,34 do not have to have it). They say with the Lone Wolf it is a matter of break in and the lighter RSA normally does not fix the issue(G34/35 use the same part number). Contact LW if a 100 rounds of high pressure ammo does not eliminate the issue, this is per their instructions. Edited by Patton

Thanks for the update. Makes sense. I a also read in a Glock forum where someone had the same issue I did. Gun had a round stuck in the chamber and I could not get it to open with out some gentle safe persuasion. After I cleared it I ran some more rounds through it. It was still staying open after two or three rounds. I'll try using different ammo because you suggested and see how it goes from there. So much for plug and play upgrades... On a side note I wonder what Lonewolf would do to that barrel if it still gave me problems. When I first got there Beryl I said it next to the 35 barrel and compared and everything was pretty darn close,I was actually happy with the measurements. The rounds I have been using were loose in the chamber which I thought was a little weird but what's not weird about a Glock, off to ammoworld thx!!

Read the first couple of paragraphs. If you send it in they will shoot some ammo through it and polish it out some. Apparently they say a 11lbs RSA will fix the issue, that was not my experience and it just added recoil. Lone Wolf is a great company, they will help you if request it but it just comes down to tightness, weak ammo, and the reinforced G35 slide. Glock 40 slides are reinforced for strength if you didn't know. Edited by Patton

I picked up. 4 boxes of win target ammo @ 127g? Will run that through per our chat and go from there. The 40 def feels and looks beefy. Am trying diff 9 mm setups for contest use. Thought the 9 would be great in the 40 frame...it's turned out to be finicky as heck. I did read the line wolf site info hopefully get this resolved fast.. Thanks

Ran 100 rounds of higher grain ammo through that new barrel, 1st magazine ran rough after that it ran really well. Went back and tried some monarch 115 grain, it ran flawlessly..I did order a stainless guide rod and spring kit. Hopefully I'll get it dialed in pretty quick!!

Got this thing set, bottom line is run higher grain through it first, at least 100 rounds, factory RS is 17 lbs, i worked through a 12, 14 and 15, stuck with the 15.

Ran every piece of russian circus ammo i could find through it, cycled like a sewing machine.......the only thing it doesnt do is fire as smooth as a 226 9 same ammo..

other than that shes shooting great, accuracy is awesome at 25 yards..i is a happy camper!

I have a LW 40-9 conversion barrel for my 35. The leade is too short to run my reloads at the OAL that I run my 9s. It's useless to me right now, maybe ill have it fixed some day or sell it. Meantime I'll stay with the factory barrel and shoot one of my other nines. Shame LW doesn't do something about the short leade. S1 Sent from my KFTHWI using Tapatalk HD

I have a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel for my Glock 22 Gen4.  That plus some factory G17 mags is all I needed to shoot 9mms in it.  Was 100% reliable from the first shot.  I don't recall the specific ammo I used but it was likely 124 gr of some sort, probably the Remington/UMC stuff that comes in a box of 250.
