Tennessee military collector association semi annual show is this weekend at the cool springs marriott in nashville. I'm bringing some duplicate items to sell including an svt40, repro m1d garand, mas 36 and a couple lee enfields. I'm sure i'll quickly spend the income on some new toy - lol! http://www.tmcaonline.org
Do you know if there will be appraisals done by anyone there? Or are they entirely buy sell trade events?
No formal appraisers but plenty of gunsmart folks. Got something particular you want to know about?

It's not a gun, just an old family medal. We know its real, but documentation is never a bad thing.

Maybe I'll be able to drag my dad out of his house on Friday.

I'll be going tomorrow, be there about 10am or so. I think I've got a couple friends that'll be there as well. Looking for a complete stock + metal for a M1917. Other than that, just after old british web gear, maybe a better repro denison smock than the one I have. Some .303 ammo or blanks would be cool if I come across 'em.

Hersh, you gonna have a table? That's a lot of stuff to tote!

Well on my way home. Traded a mas36 and mosin 91-30 plus cash for a french semi auto m44. Other than that i walked around and had a fun afternoon. Picked up a couple movies from the book man too.

Well mission accomplished. Went and had a great time. Enjoyed it as much or probably more than the last few gun shows I went to.

My plan to identify Hershmeister as "the guy with the Enfield's" turned to ash pretty quick, I felt sure I'd notice someone with a Bren, but didn't see David either. I was only there a little while so its possible I missed him.

Found a few things I was interested in, didn't end up buying anything though. Saw a lot of M1 Carbines, some Garands, a bit if everything else including some interesting looking Nagant revolvers (why am I tempted by these?) and a whole table of Nambu pistols. Lots of old pistols, revolvers, all kinds of neat stuff. And that's just some of the guns.

Really wanted to pickup a field desk someone had, looked pretty complete I guess, really cool. Just don't know what I'd do with it. Same with an old poster. "Someone Talked " a loose lips sink ships type deal. Really cool, but again, what am I going to do with it?

Anyone with the time tomorrow should really stop by and check it out. Lots of fun.
