lightweight barrel

i'm wanting to lighten my current ar and have been researching barrels for about 2 weeks now.my question is does anyone here have hands on knowledge of a voodoo innovations barrel?it is cm steel and melonited(latest greatest from what i've been reading).i would appreciate any help or opinions.thanks in advance.

I have the 16.5 ultralight rifle length gas system barrel. Have not shot it yet but the finish and machining is top notch let you know once I get it broken in. Palmetto had it on sale a while back got it for $204 delivered It's one of the lightest out there, it's the same barrel used in the Adams arms c.o.r upper piston gas system version, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited by cgpeanut

Not sure about voodoo, but palmetto sells cold hammer forged light profile fn barrels from time to time. I have one and they are awesome!

This also a fantastic barrel.
