I saw the first episode last night on FX. Dark humor like the movie starring Billy Bob Thorton. I liked it personally, thought it was pretty good keeping up with the Coen brothers type of humor.

If you like Coen brothers or the movie Fargo you'll like this. Not too many TV shows I like so i'm glad there's something to look forward to watching.

Appreciate the heads up. A big fan of the movie. But, I don't recall Billy Bob Thornton being in it. The main character was played by William H. Macey.

Just watched it On Demand.  Pretty entertaining stuff, definitely twisted and dark.   For sure will continue watching.  And Saul is in it!.

 

But like other FX shows it is covered in commercials and with On Demand they do not allow you to fast forward.  The first half hour was commercial free but then they sure made up for it.

My wife says 30-30 mix in most shows. It sure seemed like it as I watched this today.

Fargo was one of my favorite movies, I like most of the Coen brothers stuff. I usually don't care for re-makes but I thought True Grit was pretty good also, kinda strange for a Coen brothers movie.

I didn't really get the movie I guess. It was OK but I didn't see why people were so enthusiastic about it.

I planned and did watch it but was not overly thrilled, Billy Bob was too humorous and easy going. I was hoping for a more intense bad guy but the pencil-dick fellow nailed it.  :lol:

From Dust Till Dawn is another remake I've been watching. It's just like the movie but with the backstory.
