You must've gone to Graceland.

I've never gone, watched a TV show that expose'd that place about 10 years ago so that sort of killed my curiosity for the place.

Anyway as far as BBQ I typically make my own, mostly because if I try to eat BBQ I end up wearing half of it, so I will order something less messy off a resturant's menu.

If I ever shave off my beard I'll have to go try some of these places though.

Another vote for the Commissary.  If you ever happen to go to Bolivar try Richards BBQ.  It's take out or picnic table only, but there hot sauce on a pulled pork sandwich is perfect.

I vote for Rendezvous. Get there early and make sure to get the pickle plate. Michael Noirot Clarksville, Tennessee Life Member National Rifle Association Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Lots of places for good pulled pork. Take your pick!

I live in Bartlett and am partital to a local place called Brad's.

But if you want ribs, I highly recommend Fat Larry's on HWY 70 also in Bartlett. Meat so tender you have to eat it with a fork because the bones pull right out of it.

I know there isn't much love for Rendezvous from Memphis locals but Ive been there twice and I really enjoyed both visits. I only ate ribs though.

Many of us remember when the Rendezvous still used real plates and stainless steel knives and forks, and the atmosphere was a little more laid back, back before it became more of a tourist stop. Now everything comes out on paper plates with plastic forks. (Of course I'm showing my age cause Elvis still lived at Graceland back then, too... :) For the record, I still like the food. I recently stopped by one Monday when they were technically "closed". A couple of us wandered in for lunch. the waiter said we could have anything we wanted to eat, as long as we wanted ribs. What are the chances, he read my mind? It was delicious..
