I am just proud to still be here and I will think before I type from now on for sure and if I do something wrong please slap me across the knuckles like my teachers use to do in grade school. I don't know if any of ya'll ever had a ruler across the back of your hands when you were in school by teacher but I can still remember how bad it stung. Made it hard to write the rest of the day.........jmho

I went to Catholic school.  The nuns wielded rulers like ninjas wield swords.

I too went to Catholic school. My hands were hit so many times that when ever the nun would come by my desk I would just put my hands out knowing I must have done something wrong .....jmho

Glad to still be here.  I probably tend to stir the pot a bit but I try not to use a spoon bigger than my mouth.  I also try to make a valid point when I stir the pot and really try to educate or at least present a different view on something instead of attempting to belittle whoever it is that I'm talking to.  If I've ever offended anyone on here I apologize and would be glad to buy you a beer sometime.  Personally even though the gun wasn't aimed at me this time for all I know I could have been 7th on the list, so I will be paying closer attention to what I post.

 

As for those that got hit with the ban hammer I'm not sure of their exact actions but was glad to see a couple of them gone just because of their demeanor in general, hopefully the forum now consists of people who bring more to the table than they take away from it.
