5 guns that you need to own once in your life.

I can't narrow myself down to 5. Can we go up to 10?

All the bases seem to be covered except I would add somewhere in the mix:

- Any classic military bolt gun (Enfield, Mauser, Springfield or M1917)

- M1 Carbine. I really love those things.

- A LUGER

I'd have to go with:

1. Any S&W Revolver

2. A 1911

3. A .22lr rifle (10/22 seems to be the universal draw)

4. A 12ga shotgun (Remington Mossberg or Winchester, take your pick)

5. A 'military-style' rifle (AR15, AK, Garand, etc...)

I was going to post my list until I saw that it was already up there. I've got to get a .22 one day.

Well I have owned or currently own

-1911

-S&W Revolver

-10/22

-old mil surp rifle

-common 9mm service type semi auto handgun

-22 plinker handgun

So other than finishing one of the partly completed AR15's and getting a M1 I am in pretty good shape.

I agree with the 1911, AR (or AK), and 10/22 comments. All must haves.
